I do apologize for the long absence – I got a yucky cold :( and we are entering finals mode. I finally get out of school for this semester on December 20th, so posting may be sporadic until then, but I’ll do my best!
This time I have a lovely mural to share. It’s in the Mission, which has a LOT of murals and things in it, but I felt this one was really great. It even shows the Golden Gate Bridge! Though I’m not sure who the artists are, there is a small script thanking Precita Murals along with Range (I’m assuming the restaurant?). I particularly like this mural not only for it’s subject matter, but also for the way in which the artist used color blocking to create the beautiful depth of shading. It’s very interesting and a great technique!
